Tuna Melts on Parmesan-Crusted English Muffins
Easy and satisfying tuna melts made on toasted English muffins with a parmesan crust, topped with melted cheese, a quick and comforting lunch.
Ingredients
- 3 cans (198 g each) Solid Light Tuna in Oil
- 0.33 cup Mayonnaise
- 0.5 cup Celery, finely diced
- 0.25 cup Red Onion, finely diced
- 3 muffins, split English Muffins
- 0.25 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp Butter, melted
- 3 slices Processed Cheese Slices
Instructions
- Preheat broiler.
- In a bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, celery, and red onion. Mix well.
- In a separate small bowl, combine grated Parmesan cheese and melted butter.
- Spread the parmesan-butter mixture on the cut sides of the English muffins.
- Broil the English muffins for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Top each muffin half with tuna mixture and a slice of cheese.
- Broil for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve immediately.
