Spicy Moose Meat Tacos with Mango Salsa
Flavorful Mexican tacos filled with seasoned moose meat and topped with a refreshing mango salsa.
Ingredients
- 150 g Moose Meat
- 1/2 cup, diced Assorted Sweet Peppers
- 1/4 medium, diced Yellow Onion
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/2, juiced Lime
- 3 Taco Shells
- 1/2 cup, diced Mango
- 2 tbsp, chopped Cilantro
- 1/4, juiced Lime Juice
- 1/4, diced Avocado
- 1 clove, minced Garlic
Instructions
- Dice the bell peppers and onion. Mince the garlic.
- In a skillet, heat a little oil then brown the moose meat over medium-high heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the spices to bloom and coat the meat and vegetables evenly.
- In a small bowl, combine diced mango, chopped cilantro, diced avocado and lime juice to create the mango salsa.
- Warm the taco shells according to package directions.
- Fill each taco shell with the seasoned moose meat mixture and top with the mango salsa.
- Serve immediately.
