Spicy Korean Pasta with Broccoli & Gochujang

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Steam or blanch broccoli florets until tender-crisp.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.
  4. In a large skillet or wok, combine cooked pasta, broccoli, and gochujang sauce.
  5. Toss well to coat, adding a little of the reserved pasta water if needed to create a smooth sauce.
  6. Heat over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve immediately.
