  1. In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and diced avocado.
  2. Add shredded cheddar cheese and crushed tortilla chips on top of the salad.
  3. Just before serving, drizzle with Italian dressing and toss gently to combine.
  4. Serve immediately to prevent the chips from becoming soggy.
