Speedy Fruit-Topped Oatmeal
Warm oatmeal topped with sweet mandarin orange segments and maple syrup for a satisfying breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Quaker Quick Old Fashioned Oats
- 3 cups Water or Milk
- Pinch Salt
- 2-3 Orri Mandarins
- 2 tbsp PANACHE 100% Pure Maple Syrup
- Optional, pinch Cinnamon or Nutmeg
Instructions
- Combine oats, water or milk, and salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes, or until thickened.
- Peel and section the mandarins.
- Divide cooked oatmeal into three bowls.
- Top each serving with mandarin segments and drizzle with maple syrup.
- Optionally, sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
