Spanish Tomato Bread (Pan con Tomate)
A simple and delicious Spanish-style snack with crusty bread rubbed with garlic and ripe tomatoes, drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with salt.
Ingredients
- 6 slices Bread
- 2 ripe tomatoes Tomatoes on the Vine
- 1 clove Garlic
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- to taste Salt
- Pinch Black Pepper
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
- Cut the garlic clove in half and rub it over the toasted bread.
- Cut the tomatoes in half and rub the cut side over the bread, allowing the pulp to spread onto the surface.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and a pinch of black pepper. Serve immediately.
