  2. Sauté onions in olive oil until softened. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Squeeze out excess moisture from the spinach to prevent a soggy filling.
  3. In a bowl, combine spinach mixture with feta, cream cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. The nutmeg adds warmth and depth to the filling.
  4. Layer phyllo dough in a baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter. Work quickly to prevent the phyllo dough from drying out.
  5. Pour filling into the dish and top with more phyllo dough layers, brushing each layer with butter.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
