Sausage and Cabbage Stir-Fry
A flavorful and budget-friendly stir-fry with sausage, cabbage, and simple seasonings, enhanced with umami flavor.
Ingredients
- 450 g Wieners
- 0.5 head, thinly sliced Green Cabbage
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 3 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1 tsp, grated Ginger
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 2, chopped (for garnish) Green Onions
- To taste Black Pepper
Instructions
- Slice wieners into 1/4 inch thick rounds.
- Thinly slice the green cabbage.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add wieners and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove wieners from the skillet and set aside.
- Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute more, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add sliced cabbage and stir-fry until cabbage is tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
- Return the cooked wieners to the skillet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and oyster sauce. Pour the sauce over the wiener and cabbage mixture and stir to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Stir in sesame oil and season with black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
