Sausage and Cabbage Stir-Fry

  1. Slice wieners into 1/4 inch thick rounds.
  2. Thinly slice the green cabbage.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add wieners and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove wieners from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute more, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  6. Add sliced cabbage and stir-fry until cabbage is tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Return the cooked wieners to the skillet.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and oyster sauce. Pour the sauce over the wiener and cabbage mixture and stir to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  9. Stir in sesame oil and season with black pepper to taste.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
