Ricotta & Strawberry Croissant Tartines (French)
Flaky croissants topped with creamy ricotta cheese, fresh strawberries, and a drizzle of honey, a simple yet elegant French-inspired breakfast.
Ingredients
- 3 Croissants
- 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
- 1 cup, sliced Strawberries
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1/4 tsp Lemon Zest
- Optional, for garnish Mint leaves
Instructions
- Preheat broiler.
- Slice croissants in half horizontally.
- In a small bowl, mix ricotta cheese with lemon zest.
- Spread ricotta mixture evenly on the bottom halves.
- Arrange strawberry slices on top of the ricotta.
- Drizzle with honey.
- Broil for 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning, or until slightly warmed and the croissants are lightly toasted.
- Garnish with mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately.
