Quick Chana Masala Wraps
Easy and nutritious Indian-inspired chickpea wraps, perfect for a light and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cans (19 oz), drained and rinsed Chickpeas (canned)
- 6 Tortillas
- 1/2 cup Salsa
- 1/2 cup, finely chopped Onion
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1/2 jar (200 ml) Cooking Sauce
- 2 tbsp, chopped Cilantro
- 1 tbsp Lime Juice
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
Instructions
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat, add cumin and turmeric, cook for 30 seconds.
- Add finely chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until golden, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cooking sauce and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add chickpeas and salsa, cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mash some of the chickpeas for a creamier texture.
- Stir in lime juice and cilantro.
- Warm tortillas. Fill each tortilla with the chickpea mixture, fold, and serve immediately.
