Paneer Tikka Masala with Rice
A delicious Indian dish made with paneer cheese in a creamy tomato-based sauce.
Ingredients
- 450 g, cubed Paneer Cheese
- 1.5 cups Basmati Rice
- 1 jar (400 ml) Cooking Sauce
- 1/2 cup, finely chopped Onion
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1 tsp, grated Ginger
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 2 tbsp, chopped Cilantro
- 1/4 cup (optional) Heavy Cream
Instructions
- Cook basmati rice according to package directions.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan or pot over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Add turmeric and cumin. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add cooking sauce and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Gently add paneer cubes and garam masala, cook for another 5 minutes, stirring gently. If desired, stir in heavy cream for extra richness.
- Serve hot with basmati rice and garnish with cilantro.
