Morning Glory Oatmeal Bake
A warm and comforting oatmeal bake with apples, cinnamon, and a touch of maple syrup, elevated with nutmeg and toasted pecans, perfect for a family breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Rolled Oats
- 2 medium Apples, diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended)
- 1.5 cups Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 0.25 cup Pecans, chopped and toasted (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients except pecans and mix well.
- Pour into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle toasted pecans over the top (if using).
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
