Indian-Spiced Yogurt Parfaits with Apple and Oats
Layered yogurt parfaits with spiced apples, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey for a healthy and delicious dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 medium, peeled, cored, and diced No Name Naturally Imperfect Apples
- 1.5 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 cup Quick oats
- 1/4 tsp, ground Cardamom
- 1/2 tsp, ground Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp, or to taste Honey
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 tsp, ground Ginger
- Pinch Nutmeg
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced apples, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and nutmeg. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until apples are softened and slightly caramelized. Let cool slightly.
- In three glasses or parfait dishes, layer yogurt, spiced apples, and granola.
- Drizzle with honey. For a more pronounced flavor, toast the oats in a dry pan for 5 mins before layering. Be careful not to burn.
- Serve immediately or chill for later.
