Ginger Beef with Bell Peppers
Crispy beef strips tossed in a sweet and tangy ginger sauce with colorful bell peppers.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb, thinly sliced against the grain Fresh Boneless Beef Stewing Cubes
- 2 tbsp, minced Ginger
- 1 cup, sliced into strips (various colors) Peppers
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp SALEM FOODS Liquid Honey
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch
- 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Cholula Hot Sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate beef slices with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tbsp cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together remaining soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic and hot sauce.
- Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry until browned and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining vegetable oil to the wok. Add bell pepper strips and stir-fry until tender-crisp.
- Return beef to the wok. Pour in sauce mixture and stir-fry until sauce thickens and coats the beef evenly.
- Serve immediately with rice.
