Spiced Yogurt Parfait with Britannia Biscuits
Layered yogurt parfait infused with cardamom and saffron, layered with crunchy Britannia Good Day Biscuits.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 6 Biscuits
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
- Few strands Saffron strands
- 1 tbsp (optional) Chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios)
Instructions
- Warm 1 tablespoon of milk. Steep saffron strands in warm milk for about 5 minutes to extract color and flavor.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt with sugar and cardamom powder. Add the saffron-infused milk.
- Crush 4 biscuits into smaller pieces. Leave the rest for topping.
- In two glasses, layer yogurt and crushed biscuits alternatively.
- Top with the remaining biscuits and chopped nuts for garnish.
- Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
