  2. Dice ham and sauté until lightly browned.
  3. Chop asparagus into 1-inch pieces and sauté lightly.
  4. Grate Gouda cheese.
  5. Whisk eggs with milk, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  6. Line a pie dish with pie crust.
  7. Sprinkle ham, asparagus, and Gouda cheese over the crust.
  8. Pour egg mixture over the filling.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set. An internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) should be reached.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
