Masala Spiced Yogurt with Fruit and Rusk Crumble
Creamy yogurt blended with cardamom and nuts, topped with crunchy rusk crumble and fresh fruit.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 2 RUSK
- 1, sliced Navel Oranges
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 2 tbsp Chopped Nuts (Almonds, Cashews)
- Few strands (optional) Saffron Strands
- 1 tsp (optional) Sugar
Instructions
- If using saffron, soak a few strands in 1 tablespoon of warm milk for about 5-10 minutes to extract the color and flavor.
- In a bowl, whisk yogurt until smooth. Add cardamom powder and sugar (if using). Mix well.
- If using, gently stir the saffron-infused milk into the yogurt mixture, creating a beautiful marbling effect.
- Crumble the Suji Rusk into small pieces.
- In serving glasses or bowls, layer yogurt mixture, rusk crumble, chopped nuts, and sliced oranges. Repeat the layers as desired.
- Garnish with extra chopped nuts or a sprinkle of cardamom powder. Serve immediately or chill for later.
