- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
- In a small bowl, steep saffron threads in 2 tablespoons of warm milk for 10 minutes to extract color and flavor. Saffron adds a luxurious touch and unique flavor profile.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the remaining milk, eggs, cinnamon, orange zest, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and the saffron-infused milk. The citrus zests enhance the aroma and flavor.
- Soak the thick slices of Country Harvest Bread (Challah or Brioche works best) in the milk mixture for about 3 minutes on each side, ensuring they are thoroughly saturated. Thicker slices hold up better and provide a richer texture.
- Heat PANACHE Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. The olive oil adds a subtle fruity note.
- Fry the soaked bread slices until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Ensure the skillet isn't overcrowded to maintain even browning.
- Drizzle Beemaid Honey over the torrijas immediately after frying. The heat will help the honey absorb into the bread.
- Dust with powdered sugar for an elegant finish, if desired.
