  1. In a bowl, whisk together low sodium soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Set aside.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large wok or large non-stick skillet over high heat.
  3. Add thinly sliced onion and stir-fry until slightly softened (about 2 minutes).
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess fat.
  5. Stir in broccoli florets and cook for 4-6 minutes, until crisp-tender.
  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the ingredients (about 2 minutes).
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions (if using).
  8. Serve hot over cooked rice.
