Clementine French Tartlets with Almond Cream
Mini French-inspired tartlets bursting with the tangy-sweet flavor of Clementines and almond filling.
Ingredients
- 3 Clementines
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Almond Extract
- 1/4 cup Almond Flour
- 1 Egg Yolk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, 2 tbsp of sugar, 1 egg yolk, and almond extract.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into circles.
- Place circles into tartlet pans.
- Spread almond cream filling into tartlet pans.
- Peel and slice clementines.
- Arrange clementine slices in tartlet pans. Dot with butter
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
