  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, finely diced onion, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese.
  2. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
  3. In a large pot, brown meatballs over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add tomato sauce and fresh basil to the pot. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  6. While spaghetti is cooking, prepare garlic bread: Mix softened butter with garlic powder. Spread on bread slices and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve meatballs and sauce over spaghetti. Garnish with extra parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve with garlic bread on the side.
