Cabbage and Ham Soup
A hearty and comforting soup with cabbage, ham, and vegetables, perfect for a light lunch.
Ingredients
- 6 slices, diced Sliced Deli Ham
- 1/2 medium head, shredded Green Cabbage
- 1 medium, diced Carrots
- 1/2 medium, diced Yellow Onions
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Black pepper
- 1 Bay Leaf
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onions and carrots, cook until softened.
- Add cabbage and diced ham, cook for another 5 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth, add thyme, salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove bay leaf before serving.
- Serve hot.
