  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Steam or boil broccoli until tender-crisp. Alternatively, roast broccoli at 400°F (200°C) with olive oil and salt for 15 minutes for enhanced flavor.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, broccoli, diced tomatoes, cream cheese, milk, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and dried basil.
  4. Add the reserved pasta water to help create a creamier sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Pour into a greased baking dish and top with additional Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
