Ingredients
- 6 Croissants
- 113 g Brie
- 1 large Apples
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the apples: Peel, core, and dice the apple. In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add the diced apple, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until the apples are softened and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
- Spread a layer of brie on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Top the brie with the caramelized apples.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and top with the remaining butter.
- Place the top half of the croissants on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and the brie is melted and bubbly. If the croissants start to brown too quickly, cover them loosely with foil.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm.
