Bacon & Brie Bites with Avocado
Savory bacon paired with creamy brie cheese and healthy avocado slices, elevated with a touch of maple syrup.
Ingredients
- 6 slices Sliced Bacon
- 115g Goat Brie
- 1 medium Avocado
- 1/2 tsp Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut bacon slices in half.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain excess fat on paper towels. Ensure bacon reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for food safety.
- Slice brie into bite-sized pieces.
- Slice avocado into thin slices just before assembling to prevent browning.
- Arrange brie pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Top each brie piece with a bacon piece.
- Bake for 5 minutes, or until brie is slightly melted and softened.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Drizzle a tiny drop of maple syrup over each bite.
- Top each bite with a slice of fresh avocado.
- Serve immediately.
