Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a few seconds.
  3. Add chopped onion and saute until translucent.
  4. Add chopped green pepper and green onion, saute until softened.
  5. Add turmeric powder and red chili powder, saute for another minute to bloom the spices.
  6. Add rolled oats and saute for 2 minutes.
  7. Add water and crumbled bouillon cube, bring to a boil. Reduce heat immediately.
  8. Cover and cook until oats are cooked and water is absorbed.
  9. Stir in lemon juice and cilantro. Serve hot.
