- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1/2-1 tsp (adjust to taste) Chili powder or Cayenne pepper

- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Amchoor (Dry Mango Powder)

- 2 tbsp, chopped Fresh cilantro
- 2 tbsp Oil or Ghee
- 3 Corn Tortillas or Naan bread
- 1 cup, chopped Chopped Salad Kits (optional)
- 1/2 cup, chopped (optional) Red Prince Apples
Instructions
- Heat oil (or ghee for a richer flavor) in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and the raw smell disappears. This may take 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Add drained and rinsed chickpeas to the pan.
- Add garam masala, chili powder (or cayenne), turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, amchoor (if using), and salt. Mix well, ensuring the chickpeas are coated with the spices.
- Add 1/2 cup of water, cover the pan, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chickpeas are tender and the sauce has thickened. Mash some of the chickpeas for a creamier texture.
- Stir in fresh cilantro.
- Warm the corn tortillas or naan bread.
- Fill each tortilla with chana masala, chopped salad kit (if using), and chopped apple (if using).
- Wrap and serve immediately.
