Spicy Korean Tofu Stir-Fry
A quick and flavorful Korean-inspired tofu stir-fry with gochujang and vegetables.
Ingredients
- 300g Firm Tofu
- 1 cup Broccoli Florets
- 1 medium, sliced Carrot
- 1/2, sliced Red Bell Pepper
- 2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1 tsp, grated Ginger
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 2, thinly sliced, for garnish Green Onions
- 1 tsp, for garnish Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Press tofu to remove excess water. Cut into cubes. For extra crispy tofu, toss the tofu cubes lightly in cornstarch before frying.
- In a large pan or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add tofu and stir-fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove tofu and set aside.
- Add garlic, ginger, broccoli, carrot, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 5 minutes, until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang and soy sauce. Add 1 tablespoon of water to loosen the sauce.
- Pour sauce over the vegetables and stir well to combine. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return tofu to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve over cooked rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
