Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup
Classic comfort food: grilled cheese sandwich served with warm tomato soup. A quick and easy vegetarian lunch option.
Ingredients
- 6 slices Bread slices
- 6 slices Cheddar cheese slices
- 3 tbsp, softened Butter
- 3 cans Tomato Soup
Instructions
- Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Place three bread slices, butter-side down, in a cold pan.
- Top each slice with cheddar cheese slices.
- Place remaining bread slices on top of the cheese.
- Turn burner on to medium-low heat.
- Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey, about 4-6 minutes per side, flipping carefully.
- While the grilled cheese sandwiches are cooking, heat tomato soup in a separate pot until warm, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the grilled cheese sandwiches immediately with the warm tomato soup.
