Tomato Rice with Yogurt
Tomato rice with yogurt.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 cups Low Fat Yogurt
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder
Instructions
- Heat extra virgin olive oil in a pot.
- Sauté Garlic until fragrant.
- Add Diced Tomatoes, Turmeric Powder, and Cumin Powder, and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add Basmati Rice and 2 cups of water. Cook until water is absorbed.
- Season with salt and Black Pepper.
- Serve hot with Low Fat Yogurt.
