Sockeye Salmon Poke Bowl
Sockeye salmon poke bowl with rice, avocado, and soy sauce dressing.
Ingredients
- 150g Wild Sockeye Salmon
- 1/2 Hass Avocado
- 2 cups Cooked Sushi Rice
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Rice Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Sriracha
- 1/4 cup sliced Green Onions
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
- 2 sheets Nori Seaweed
Instructions
- Dice wild sockeye salmon into small cubes. Ensure to use sushi grade salmon or treat it per FDA requirements to ensure safe consumption of raw salmon.
- Dice avocado into small cubes.
- Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions. Mix in rice vinegar gently once cooked.
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha for a spicy kick to create the dressing.
- In a bowl, place sushi rice.
- Top with diced sockeye salmon, avocado, sliced green onions, and sesame seeds.
- Tear nori seaweed into small pieces and add to the bowl.
- Drizzle the soy sauce dressing over the bowl just before serving. Consume immediately for food safety
