  1. Heat a little water or broth in a pot. Sauté garlic and onion until softened.
  2. Add the Garam Masala and Turmeric Powder seasoning and cook for another minute, until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the rolled oats and low sodium broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until oats are cooked and the mixture has thickened.
  4. Stir in mixed vegetables during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  5. Garnish with fresh cilantro and green chili (if using) before serving.
