Honey Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry
A quick and easy Chinese-inspired stir-fry with chicken and a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 oz (113g), cubed Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 cup (113g) Bean Sprouts
- 1/4 medium, sliced Green Bell Pepper
- 1 tbsp, unsweetened Shredded Coconut
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
Instructions
- In a small bowl, toss the cubed chicken with cornstarch. This will help it crisp up.
- Heat sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add chicken and stir-fry until browned and cooked through.
- Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 30 seconds.
- In a small bowl, mix honey and low sodium soy sauce.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and stir-fry until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
- Add bean sprouts and sliced green bell pepper, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Garnish with unsweetened shredded coconut and serve hot.
