  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion, garlic, and grated ginger until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add green chili (if using), turmeric, cumin, coriander, and garam masala. Sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir in rolled oats. Cook until soft and creamy, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. While oats are cooking, lightly pan-fry or bake the aloo tikki until heated through and slightly crispy.
  5. Mash the cooked aloo tikki and add to the oatmeal mixture. Mix gently to combine.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and garnish with fresh mint before serving hot.
