Scandanavian Tuna Salad Open Sandwich
A delicious high-protein lunch featuring tuna and a creamy lemon dill sauce on buttered rye.
Ingredients
- 1 can (85g), drained Tuna Fillets in Olive Oil
- 2 slices Light Rye Bread
- 2 tbsp (30g), softened Cream Cheese
- 1/2 lemon, juiced Lemon
- 1, thinly sliced Green Onion
- 1 tsp, chopped Fresh Dill
- 1 tbsp, softened Butter
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
Instructions
- Lightly butter the rye bread slices with softened butter.
- In a bowl, mix together the drained tuna, softened cream cheese, lemon juice, fresh dill, and sliced green onion.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the tuna mixture evenly over the buttered rye bread slices.
- Serve immediately as an open-faced sandwich.
