American Black Bean Burger Lettuce Wraps (GF, DF, Vegetarian)
A light and healthy twist on the classic black bean burger, served in lettuce wraps.
Ingredients
- 1 patty Vegetarian Black Bean Burger (Gluten-Free)
- 2-3 leaves Large Lettuce Leaves (e.g., Romaine or Butter)
- 1/4 Avocado, sliced
- 2 slices Tomato, sliced
- a few slices Red Onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Salsa
- 1 tsp Lime Juice
- 1/4 tsp Chili Powder
Instructions
- Cook gluten-free black bean burger according to package directions. Sprinkle with chili powder during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Wash and dry lettuce leaves. Arrange lettuce leaves on a plate or in a container.
- Place cooked burger on lettuce leaves.
- Top with avocado slices, tomato slices, red onion slices, and salsa. Drizzle with lime juice.
- Wrap the lettuce around the fillings and enjoy immediately or pack for lunch. If packing for lunch, store salsa separately to prevent sogginess.
