Turkey and Avocado Lettuce Wraps
A light and refreshing lunch option featuring lean turkey and healthy fats from avocado, elevated with lime.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Ground Turkey (Lean)
- 3 Avocados
- 15 Romaine Lettuce Leaves (Large)
- 3 tbsp Lime Juice
- 0.5 cup Red Onion (Finely Diced)
- 0.25 cup Fresh Cilantro (Chopped)
- 1 Jalapeño (Finely Diced, Optional)
- 0.5 tsp Cumin
- 0.25 tsp Chili Powder
Instructions
- Cook ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked (165F). Drain any excess fat.
- In a bowl, mash avocados with lime juice, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño (if using), cumin, and chili powder.
- Spoon the ground turkey mixture into lettuce leaves.
- Top with avocado mash.
- Serve immediately.
