Pork and Veggie Rice Bowl
Ingredients
- 300g Ground Pork
- 1.5 cups Cooked Basmati Rice
- 1 medium Tomato
- 0.5 medium Cucumber
- 1 medium Avocado
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce (low sodium)
- 0.5 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp grated Ginger (fresh)
- 1 clove minced Garlic (fresh)
- Pinch Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate ground pork with grated ginger, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes for at least 10 minutes. This enhances the flavor of the pork.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook marinated ground pork in the pan until browned and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 160°F/71°C). Drain excess fat.
- Dice tomato and cucumber into small pieces.
- Slice avocado.
- Mix soy sauce and sesame oil in a small bowl.
- Divide cooked rice into bowls.
- Top with cooked ground pork, diced tomato, cucumber, and avocado slices.
- Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil mixture.
- Serve immediately.
