Low-Fat Tomato and Spinach Pizza with Whole Wheat Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Prepare pizza dough by mixing whole wheat flour, regular flour, yeast, and warm water. Let it rise in a warm place for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Sauté chopped onions in a pan until translucent. Add chopped spinach and sauté until wilted. Season with garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and transfer to a baking sheet.
  5. Spread pasta sauce evenly over the dough.
  6. Top with the sautéed spinach and onion mixture and sliced tomatoes.
  7. Sprinkle Cottage Cheese evenly over the pizza.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are heated through.
