Low-Fat Tomato and Spinach Pizza with Whole Wheat Crust
A healthy pizza featuring a whole wheat crust, topped with fresh tomatoes, spinach, and a sprinkle of low-fat cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- 400 g Spinach
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 Onion
- 1 cup Pasta Sauce
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 tsp Yeast
- 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Prepare pizza dough by mixing whole wheat flour, regular flour, yeast, and warm water. Let it rise in a warm place for at least 30 minutes.
- Sauté chopped onions in a pan until translucent. Add chopped spinach and sauté until wilted. Season with garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and transfer to a baking sheet.
- Spread pasta sauce evenly over the dough.
- Top with the sautéed spinach and onion mixture and sliced tomatoes.
- Sprinkle Cottage Cheese evenly over the pizza.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are heated through.
