Elevated Tuna Pasta
Ingredients
- 100 g Pasta
- 170 g Tuna in water, drained
- 2 tbsp High-quality mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp Red onion, finely diced
- 1 tsp Capers, drained and chopped
- to taste Black pepper
- to taste Salt
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
- While pasta is cooking, prepare the tuna mixture. In a bowl, gently flake the tuna with a fork.
- Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, red onion, and capers to the tuna. Mix gently to combine.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Once pasta is drained, add it to the bowl with the tuna mixture.
- Toss gently to coat. If the pasta seems dry, add a tablespoon or two of the reserved pasta water to moisten.
- Serve immediately or chill for later.
