Elevated Tuna Pasta

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. While pasta is cooking, prepare the tuna mixture. In a bowl, gently flake the tuna with a fork.
  3. Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, red onion, and capers to the tuna. Mix gently to combine.
  4. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Once pasta is drained, add it to the bowl with the tuna mixture.
  6. Toss gently to coat. If the pasta seems dry, add a tablespoon or two of the reserved pasta water to moisten.
  7. Serve immediately or chill for later.
