  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cubed potatoes to the skillet. Cook until potatoes are slightly tender, about 8-10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, soup, and the skillet mixture. Ensure sausage is cooked to a safe internal temperature.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through. If the top is browning too quickly, cover loosely with foil.
  9. Let stand for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot.
