Italian Deli Meat and Veggie Wraps
A quick and satisfying lunch featuring deli meat, fresh vegetables, and a light vinaigrette in whole wheat wraps.
Ingredients
- 350 g Sliced Deli Meat
- 5 cups Spinach
- 2 Roma Tomatoes
- 1 Cucumber
- 1/2 cup Light Vinaigrette Dressing
- 5 Whole Wheat Wraps
- 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves (optional)
- 1/4 cup Red Onion (thinly sliced, optional)
Instructions
- Wash and thinly slice tomatoes and cucumber. If using red onion, soak it in cold water for 10 minutes to reduce its sharpness.
- Lay out wraps and spread a thin layer of vinaigrette dressing. Add fresh basil leaves for added flavoring.
- Layer spinach, deli meat, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion (if using) on each wrap.
- Roll up tightly and serve immediately. Optionally, lightly toast the wraps on a skillet for a warm, crispy texture.
- Ensure deli meat is fresh and has been stored properly to avoid foodborne illness.
