  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened. Add diced red bell pepper and cook until slightly tender, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in the Italian herb mix and season with black pepper.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and season with black pepper.
  6. Pour the eggs over the ground beef mixture in the skillet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the frittata is set and golden brown. A knife inserted into the center should come out clean.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
